Applications Not Supported on IRLhosting Cloud OBS Print

Policy (Why these apps aren’t supported)

To keep Cloud OBS systems stable, secure, and compliant, we do not install or support third-party applications that are unrelated to video encoding/streaming, that introduce background services/overlays, require kernel-level drivers, enable P2P traffic, or play DRM-protected content. These apps can cause frame drops, audio desync, high CPU/GPU usage, licensing/DRM issues, and security risks for shared infrastructure.

Notes

  • The list below is not exhaustive; similar apps are also disallowed.

  • VPNs, proxies, tunneling tools, cryptocurrency miners, and P2P software are not allowed.

  • If you have a legitimate, stream-critical need for software not listed here, open a ticket—we’ll advise alternatives or case-by-case options.
